North Wales Baptist College (Y Coleg Gwyn)

Student Hostel

Our students have the opportunity to live on site in self-catering accommodation. As we are very conveniently located for the university, shops and the city-centre, and railway station, this accommodation is highly sought by the student population. The hostel is administered by the North Wales Baptist College.

The student hostel is located in our adjoining building, which is in a large and  impressive Victorian semi-detached building of character.  The accommodation consists of six large single bedrooms with shared facilities; comprising a large sitting room/TV room, kitchen, shower room/wc, and bathroom/wc.  Students are responsible for their own catering and domestic management, and live in a 'homely' family environment.

Our fees are all inclusive (including heating, lighting, water, gas, electricity). Currently, for academic year 2007-2008 our rates are £57 per week, which is among the cheapest available in the academic community in Bangor.

Anyone contemplating studying at Bangor might want to consider living in our student hostel. but due to its popularity early application is encouraged. Students should make initial enquiries before the end of March in the academic year beginning September/October of that year.  Such is the demand for local self-catering accommodation that we usually allocate rooms by the end of April.

All enquiries for accommodation should be directed to the College Secretary or Administrative Assistant. (Please use the CONTAC US tab on the left).
